We Can Support Your Independence By Assisting With Your Daily Activities at Home, Work & School.
At ILS, we assist adults with permanent physical disabilities and seniors with activities of daily living such as bathing, transferring, meal preparation, and household routines. We will assess your needs and offer either assisted living support or personal support depending on your needs.
Personal Support Services
For Seniors
Personal support services are designed for clients who can direct their own care to help with their activities of daily living. We develop your care plan based on your requirements to stay independent at home and in your community. We will pre-schedule services from 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Monday to Sunday, depending on your needs.

Personal support services are designed for clients who can direct their own care to help with their activities of daily living. Apply HereTo be eligible for Personal Support Services you must meet the following requirements:
- Be 16 years of age or older.
- Be insured under the Health Insurance Act of Ontario.
- Have a permanent physical disability.
- Require assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting and transferring.
- Be able to direct your own care.
- Be able to live safely unattended and manage their own affairs to living independently.
- Have your medical needs met by an existing community health networks.
- The home has the physical features necessary to enable services to be provided safely.
- You must have a back-up in place to support essential daily needs in the event that the Attendant is not available.

Personal support services are not available for rehabilitation or short-term recovery.
If you are able to live safely and unattended in your home, we are able to provide you with support services. We offer care in your home, workplace or adult education facility. We do not provide support in long-term care, hospitals or other care settings.
If you are receiving insurance benefits for Attendant Care Services that meet your assessed care needs you will not be eligible for ILS personal support services.
